Styrene Butadiene Modifier for Plastics
Our Stereon™ 840A/842A styrene butadiene block copolymers provides a number of advantages as a polymer modifier, including:
- Easy blending into styrenic-based polymers
- Improved impact resistance and toughness for alloyed products
- Free-flowing form, allowing use in conventional plastics handling systems
- No required drying before usage, because Stereon™ is not hygroscopic
- Ease of dispersion
- Excellent thermal stability
Stereon™ dry blends readily with other thermoplastics
in cone and ribbon blenders or can be added directly to the extruder throat
with automated additive feeders. Stereon™ 840A/842A also increases the properties
of regrind material.
Our Stereon™ 840A/842A is a high purity product that complies with FDA requirements
for a wide variety of applications. Stereon™ 842A contains a TNPP free stabilizer.View

Stereon™ 721AC is a low styrene block copolymer with a low solution viscosity. Providing excellent performance for impact enhancement of styrene based polymers. The low viscosity allows:
- Higher loading of rubber than standard Diene™ polymers
- Smaller particle size potential
- Maintenance of impact resistance
