Duradene™
Duradene™ Solution SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber)
Duradene™ solution SBRs are designed to be
used in a variety of rubber applications including tires, flooring, conveyor
belts and other mechanical rubber goods.
Duradene™ typically has narrow molecular weight distribution, completely
randomized styrene, and 99% rubber hydrocarbon. In addition, the styrene
and vinyl contents can be customized to achieve specific polymer properties.
Compared to emulsion SBR, Duradene™ will generally have better abrasion
resistance, low hysteresis, faster cure rate and better low temperature
flexibility.
