Polybutadiene for Tires and Rubber Goods

Our solution polymerized polybutadiene rubber is available in two grades: medium cis at 40 percent and high cis at 96 percent.

These Diene™ products are used in a variety of applications including:

• Tires
• Mechanical rubber goods
• Golf balls

Both the medium and high cis Diene™ are available in a range of Mooney viscosities designed to suit most rubber applications. Firestone Polymers solution polymerization technology allows the polybutadiene microstructure to be changed to suit specific needs.
